Our Background

Mukono Women's AIDS task Force(MWATF) is a women's Non Government Organization based in Nansana west 1B in Nakuule Parish, Nansana Town Council Kyandondo North county Wakiso District in central Uganda. The organization is currently operating in two districts Mukono and Wakiso. The Organization was established in October 27th 1997 by Asumin Sarah Namulondo with views of helping peolple living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs), orphans, PWDs, elderly, sngle mothers and fathers and environment protection. The major aim for its establishment is to improve and develop people's standards of living spiritually, socially, economically and culturally. to achieve the above, women/girls meet regulary, share ideas, mentoring each other experience advice and counsel each other, contribute and meet financial needs, utilize the technical knowledge and skills/talents they have to start and run the project so far embarked on


To promote social and economic prosperity among the women and girls and promote family planning.


To reduce the high level of poverty and hunger in the community so as to control the common cases of robbery, unemployment, condoism and high mortality and mobility rate for mutual and positive living.


To unite people of the community where we operate into a strong allaince totally opposed to unemployed, poverty, tribalism, robbery, condoism, corruption and discrimination of any nature.
